Holy Doors Open at St. Thomas Aquinas

Auxiliary Bishop Raymond Chappetto blessed and opened the Holy Doors at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Flatlands. This growing parish has undergone some recent renovations and has a new tabernacle, which the bishop also blessed.

Bishops Bless Holy Doors in the Diocese

The Holy Year of Mercy officially began in Brooklyn and Queens on Sunday, Dec. 13, as Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio and the auxiliary bishops conducted prayer services and blessed six Holy Doors.
