Maronites Have Their Own Set of Holy Doors

While the Diocese of Brooklyn and Queens was granted six Holy Doors in this Jubilee Year of Mercy, there actually exists a seventh set of Holy Doors within the diocese at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lebanon in Brooklyn Heights.

At Communion-Breakfast, Heroic Cops Honored

Assistant Police Chief David Barrere, co-strategist and tactical command Queens South, was named Man of the Year March 13 at the 96th annual Communion Mass and Breakfast of the NYPD Brooklyn and Queens Holy Name Society. The ceremony also recognized 31 Cops of the Year for their heroic service, including five heroes who passed away last year.

Pro Vita Ceremony Honors Little Sisters, Calvary Staff
