The newest adult members of the Catholic Church in Brooklyn and Queens came together to pray with their bishop just two weeks after receiving their first sacraments.
Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio baptized 27 catechumens during Easter Vigil service at St. Agatha’s Church, Sunset Park.
About 1,500 people participated in the annual Way of the Cross sponsored by Communion and Liberation on Good Friday. Services began at St. James Cathedral-Basilica, Downtown Brooklyn, where Cardinal Timothy Dolan and Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio participated.
