United as One, Young Church

It took more than nine months of planning, but for the first time, the “One Youth Rally” retreat on Oct. 5 brought together teens from the 10 different Queens parishes within Deanery 5 for a a variety of opportunities for the youth to grow in their faith.

35 Years Later: Godspell Revival in Bellerose

St. Gregory’s Theatre Group in Bellerose is marking its 35th birthday with a revival of its first play – “Godspell,” a musical based on parables in the Gospels. It’s directed by Kathleen Rollo Ferrara, who started the theatre group as a teenager in 1979.

Sister M. Agnes Patrice Milott, B.V.M., 92, a member of the Sisters of Charity, B.V.M., for 73 years, died Dec. 26, 2012, at Caritas Center, Dubuque, Iowa.
