October is breast cancer awareness month and for the seventh straight year, St. Rose of Lima Catholic Academy, Rockaway Beach, conducted a pink dress down day to raise awareness. Faculty, staff and students paid a nominal dress-down fee and donated the proceeds to breast cancer research in memory of several women close to the school community, and in honor of three parent survivors.
