This week’s Tip of the Tablet TALK Top Hat goes to the Home School Association of St. Mel’s School, Flushing.

Through the efforts of some generous and hardworking moms and dads, students returned to school this fall to find that a track and basketball court were painted onto the schoolyard.

Not only do the bright colors add life to the asphalt, they invite boys and girls to run or play a pick-up game with friends.

Way to go parents!
