A Marvelous Sight at HCJ School
It was a feast for the eyes — more than 460 pairs of used eyeglasses, which the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Paragon Chapter at Holy Child Jesus School, Richmond Hill, collected during their recent Used Eyeglasses Drive. Susan Dyckman, chief executive officer of the New Eyes For the Needy Organization, gratefully accepted the glasses, which will be part of the 200,000 pairs the organization annually distributes to the needy around the country and the world. The NJHS members, all eighth graders, were proud to do their part to serve others.
