Nassau County police have announced the arrest of a suspect in last November’s murder of Rockville Centre Deacon Patrick Logsdon.
Forty-seven-year old Andre Patton was arraigned in a Hempstead courtroom after being arrested in Memphis, Tenn.
The deacon, who was 70, was stabbed to death in a Long Island halfway house where he had served as a counselor for more than 30 years. Patton was a resident of the house at the time. The stabbing is believed to have been the result of a squabble over the suspect’s anger management problem. The suspect could face life imprisonment if convicted.
