Broadway mixes with St. Francis College, Brooklyn Heights, as Wade Preston, from the Billy Joel and Twyla Tharp musical “Movin’ Out,” performs at the second Sunset, Songs and Scholarships event Saturday, July 22, 7 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Center in Douglaston.

Preston will play Joel’s biggest hits as the sun sets on Long Island, all for the good cause of raising funds to help St. Francis College students reach their dreams.

At the event, the college will honor several alumni, and Rosario Acquista (Acquista Trattoria) for their support, dedication and embodying of the spirit of St. Francis. The alumni being honored include Brian Cosgrove ’83, Jimmy Fox ’73, Pat Mallozzi ’79 and Veronica Dwyer-Mallozzi ’82.
