Senior John Cashman, drum major of the Xaverian H.S. Pipes and Drums from Bay Ridge, and a large contingent of students and faculty from St. Francis Prep, Fresh Meadows, were two of the local diocesan delegations to march in the New York St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Manhattan. Prior to the parade’s stepping off, Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio joined Cardinal Timothy Dolan for a concelebrated Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
