At its annual Awards Night on May 20, the St. Joseph’s College Brooklyn, Clinton Hill, athletic department awarded its inaugural Male and Female Student-Athlete of the Year Award to men’s basketball sophomore forward Michael Megafu, above left, and senior multi-sport athlete Kelly McNamee, above right.

Megafu, a graduate of Nazareth R.H.S., East Flatbush, averaged a career-high 17.0 pts. and a team-leading 10.5 rebounds per game to go along with 17 double-doubles.

McNamee, a graduate of The Mary Louis Academy, Jamaica Estates, starred on the women’s cross-country, tennis and basketball teams.
