Although the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) Cross Country season is completed, the action has not stopped for the teams, their coaches and alumni.

CYO was well represented at this year’s N.Y.C. Marathon that traversed through the five boroughs on Nov. 3.

Coaches were led by Jim Lunny of St. Francis de Sales in 3:25 and Jim Cappiello of Resurrection in 3:40, and also included Steve Gifford and John Edwards of St. Francis de Sales, Javier and Nicole Hernandez of St. Andrew Avellino, and Matt and Trish O’Sullivan of St. Anne’s.

Alumni from St. Francis de Sales were led by Kevin Quinn in 3:04, Brendan Lunny 3:23, Meghan Edwards 3:37, plus Cara O’Donnell, Mary Edwards, and Courtney Donahue.
