Celebrating Almost a Century in Dyker Heights
St. Ephrem School in Dyker Heights will commence its annual celebration of Catholic Schools Week. St. Ephrem has been a vital part of the Dyker Heights neighborhood for almost 100 years, and in that time has upheld the standards and traditions which make the community proud.
This year, students will participate in various events throughout the week to celebrate the ideals Catholics hold dear and make Catholic education the standard bearer of N.Y.C. education.
From internal events, like a religion bee, to events that are open to the public, like the theater group’s performance of Aladdin, St. Ephrem continually strives to strengthen ties to its faith and the wider community.
Families are invited to celebrate Catholic Schools Week at St. Ephrem, beginning with an open house on Jan. 29 at 11 a.m. Witness the difference Catholic school makes in the lives of young people. The school community looks forward to welcoming the next generation of St. Ephrem School’s students so that the next 100 years of faith, knowledge and service can be as fulfilling as its first.
