St. Ephrem’s parish, Dyker Heights, will celebrate its 90th anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 24, with an outdoor festival  and  anniversary liturgy.
Beginning at 1:30 p.m., the day’s program will include music and entertainment, rides, games, food and prizes.  It will be held on 74th St. between Fort Hamilton Pkwy. and Tenth Ave.
At 4:30 p.m., Msgr. Peter Kain, pastor, will celebrate the 90th Jubilee Mass in the church.  Outdoor festivities will resume at 6 p.m. and continue into the evening.
Part of the proud parish history is St. Ephrem’s School which a parish spokesman calls “a thriving elementary school that has always enjoyed high enrollment and attendance to date.”
The parish also has experienced and promoted a wide spectrum of countless sports, programs, groups and events for every age, from children to seniors.
