St. Edmund Prep H.S., Sheepshead Bay, will host its 20th annual Tip-Off Tournament to ring in the Catholic Youth Organization basketball season.

Eighth grade teams are invited to participate. The tournament has been a great gathering of teams of all levels in Brooklyn and Queens for 20 years.

Each team plays three games. The tournament fee is $175, which includes referee fees and a drawstring bag for each participant.

The championship and runner-up team will be awarded trophies, as well as plaques for the All-Tournament team and M.V.P. trophy.

The tournament begins on Oct. 26 and wraps on Nov. 4.
