The Catholic Youth Organization of Brooklyn and Queens wrapped up its boys’ basketball diocesan championships with the following three teams capturing titles:
Bantam Competitive: St. Francis de Sales, Belle Harbor
Rookie Competitive: St. Bernard, Mill Basin
Intermediate Competitive: St. Helen, Howard Beach
Once a Terrier, always a Terrier! St. Francis Prep, Fresh Meadows, senior bowler Giana Giampapa has signed on to continue bowling at St. Francis College, Brooklyn Heights.
The first-ever class of seniors on the Holy Cross H.S., Flushing, varsity softball team enjoyed their Senior Day in late April. This was the first group of seniors on the softball team since the school went co-ed prior to the start of the 2018-2019 school year.
