The following CHSAA boys’ high school basketball teams won league titles this season:
Varsity ‘AA’: Christ the King H.S., Middle Village, took home this year’s Brooklyn/Queens championship with a victory over Archbishop Molloy H.S., Briarwood. The Royals advanced to the city championship final, losing to Archbishop Stepinac H.S., White Plains, N.Y.
Varsity ‘A’: Nazareth H.S., East Flatbush, captured the city championship title with win over Fordham Prep, the Bronx. The Kingsmen advanced to the state championship game, where it fell to The Park School of Buffalo, Amherst, N.Y.
Junior Varsity ‘AA’: Bishop Loughlin H.S., Fort Greene, took down Mount St. Michael Academy, the Bronx, to earn the city championship title.
Junior Varsity ‘A’: Msgr. McClancy H.S., East Elmhurst, emerged victorious over Msgr. Farrell H.S., Staten Island, in the battle for the city crown.
