R.I.P. Crusader

Far Rockaway native and former Msgr. McClancy H.S., East Elmhurst, basketball standout Greg Hardin died at the age of 45. He starred for the Crusaders during the early 1990s and averaged 35 and 37 points per game, respectively as a member of the school’s freshmen and sophomore teams.

He helped lead McClancy to the city championship finals as a junior and then was named All-City and the best Catholic High School basketball player in Queens after averaging 21 points per game as a senior.
