The Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) of Brooklyn and Queens will host its fourth annual Hall of Fame induction ceremony Friday, June 2, at Immaculate Conception Center, Douglaston. Mass in the chapel begins at 6 p.m. and is followed by a cocktail hour and ceremony. This year’s class includes Dr. Jerome Antonino, Mary Burns, Father William Dulaney (posthumous), Bob Farrell, Phil Favata, Ellyn Hausdorf, Denise Hillig, Harry McMahon Sr., Maryellen Quinn and Ray Schick.

Nazareth H.S., East Flatbush, will host its annual Eugene McCarthy Memorial 5K Run/Walk Saturday, June 3, in Marine Park. The race honors the memory of Major Eugene McCarthy, a 1973 graduate of Nazareth who gave his life for his country in 1991 during Operation Desert Storm. Proceeds from the race benefit the Eugene McCarthy Scholarship Fund at Nazareth.
