The Sisters of Mercy and their associates are still collecting new socks to benefit veterans in St. Albans. The drive runs through Dec. 15.

Donations may be brought to the Sisters of Mercy Convent, 22-04 Parsons Blvd. in Whitestone, or to St. Matthias Rectory, Ridgewood.
