Social Distancing to Stop the Pandemic

Dear Editor: Mayor Bill de Blasio is telling city residents to inform the authorities on group activities. Now, to begin with, I’m not a fan of Mayor de Blasio but I believe he is right on target with this idea.

To begin with in the last 24 hours hundreds of our fellow New Yorkers have died. Proper distancing saves lives! Our
elderly are prone to dying of COVID-19 virus and should be protected by the many doing the right thing.

I’m 70 years old and worry about contracting this disease and dying from it. So telling on people that violate the rule of distancing I have no problem with that. In my view, too many people have died already.
