St. Patrick’s parish, Bay Ridge, held its 35th Opening Day for its CYO soccer program Sept. 14. The day featured a blessing at the church and a parade from the church to the Shore Road fields for opening ceremonies. Over 200 children from kindergarten through eighth grade participate in the St. Patrick’s soccer program, which runs until the beginning of November.
