Sister St. Timothy Connolly, C.S.J. a member of the Sisters of St. Joseph, Brentwood, L.I., for 72 years, died May 1, in Brentwood.
She entered the congregation in 1943 from O.L. Mercy, Forest Hills. She attended Manhattan College, and the Catholic University of Puerto Rico.
She taught at O.L. Perpetual Help, Sunset Park, 1945-48; Mary’s Nativity, Flushing, 1948; O.L. Victory, Bedford-Stuyvesant, 1948-54; St. Robert Bellarmine, Bayside, 1954-57; Academia San Gorge, Puerto Rico, 1957-58; Colegio San Conrado, Puerto Rico, 1958-62; Academia Santa Monica, Puerto Rico, 1962-66; Sacred Heart Academy H.S., Hempstead, L.I., 1966-67; Bishop Kearney H.S., Bensonhurst, 1978-86; and Stella Maris H.S., Rockaway Park, 1990-2001.
She was principal at Colegio San Conrado, Puerto Rico, 1967-78, and superior at St. Joseph Convent, Brentwood, 1986-1990.
