Sister Patrick Regina Sullivan, S.C., 90, a native of Manhattan, died April 24 at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx.

Born as Catherine, she attended Sacred Heart School in the Bronx and Cathedral H.S., Manhattan, before entering the Sisters of Charity of New York in 1942. She received a bachelor’s degree in history from the College of Mount St. Vincent and later earned N.Y.S. Permanent Certification in social studies.

Her only assignment in the Brooklyn Diocese was as a second-grade teacher at St. Gabriel, East Elmhurst, in 1944. She also taught in the Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, and Yonkers.

In 2014, she was among the first sisters to move to Kittay House (in Jewish Home LifeCare) in the Bronx.

A Mass of the resurrection was celebrated at Mount St. Vincent Convent on May 1.

Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers.
