Sister Mary Patricia Murray, S.C., 96, a Sister of Charity, Halifax, for 75 years, died at Mount St. Vincent, Wellesley Hills, Mass., Jan. 20.
Formerly known as Sister Mary of Lourdes, she taught first grade at St. Sylvester School, City Line, 1939-44, and third grade at Our Lady of Angels, Bay Ridge, 1944-48.
She went on to teach in Massachusetts and retired to Mount St. Vincent in 1989.
Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham, Mass.
