Sister Marguerite Francis Armstrong, S.C., a Sister of Charity-Halifax, Nova Scotia, for 71 years, died July 24 at Mount St. Vincent in Wellesley Hills, Mass. She was 90.

She taught first through third grades at St. Sebastian School, Woodside, 1949-55.

She later ministered in Bermuda, Washington, in Massachusetts, Alberta, and Nova Scotia, Canada. She retired to Mount St. Vincent, Wellesley Hills, in 2012.

She is survived by her sister, Rosemarie Hines of Massachusetts.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at Mount St. Vincent Chapel, Wellesley Hills. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Needham, Mass.
