Sister Margaret Griffin, S.C. (Sister Leo Stanislaus) died on March 13, at Mount St. Vincent, Wellesley Hills, Mass., at the age of 99.

A Sister of Charity (Halifax) for 80 years, she was missioned at St. Sylvester School in City Line, 1947-53 as an eighth-grade teacher.

She also ministered at Our Lady of Good Counsel, Staten Island; Westmont, N.J.; Massachusetts, British Columbia and Nova Scotia.

She served in the Treasurer’s Office of Mount St. Vincent, Wellesley, 1973-2000 in various capacities.

Sister Margaret retired to Mount St. Vincent, Wellesley Hills, in 2000.

A funeral Mass was celebrated March 17 at Mount St. Vincent, Wellesley. Burial was in St Mary’s Cemetery, Needham, Mass.
