Sister M. Rosela McFadden, I.H.M., of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary died March 19 at Our Lady of Peace Residence in Scranton, Pa. She was 92.

She entered the IHM Congregation in 1943, and made her final profession of vows on Aug. 2, 1949.

Among her teaching assignments were St. Raymond’s Elementary School, East Rockaway, 1946-47, and 1955-58; St. Dominic Elementary, Oyster Bay, L.I., 1952-54; St. Ephrem, Dyker Heights, 1959-64 and 1983-2013; and Cathedral H.S., Manhattan, 1980-83.

She retired in 2013.

She was preceded in death by eight brothers and two sisters.

Interment was at St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow, Pa.
