Sister Kathleen Therese Casey, S.C., 79, a Sister of Charity, Halifax, for 59 years, died at Mount St. Vincent, Wellesley Hills, Mass., on Jan. 24.
Locally, she taught fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades at St. Sebastian School in Woodside from 1955 to 1964.
She also ministered in Massachusetts, Quebec and Nova Scotia before retiring to Mount St. Vincent in 2011.
Burial was in St Mary’s Cemetery, Needham, Mass.
