Sister Catherine Rorke, S.C., a Sister of Charity, Halifax, for 64 years, died at Elizabeth Seton Residence, Mount St. Vincent, Wellesley Hills, Mass., Dec. 9.

She was 91. She graduated from Our Lady of Angels School, Bay Ridge, before entering the order.

Formerly Sister James Catherine, she was the principal at Our Lady of the Cenacle, Richmond Hill, 1962-68, and St. Sebastian School, Woodside, 1968-72, before returning to Our Lady of the Cenacle School as assistant principal and teacher, 1972-79.

She also ministered at St. Aidan School, Williston Park, L.I. and in Massachusetts.

She is survived by her brother Eugene Rorke.
