Sister Carmelina Meyers, B.V.M., 91, died May 11 at Marian Hall in Dubuque, Iowa.

In the Diocese of Brooklyn, she taught elementary school at St. Gregory the Great, Bellerose, 1953-59 and 1968-69. She also taught elementary school in Hempstead, L.I.; and Maywood, Grayslake and Chicago, Ill., where she also taught secondary school and served as high school campus/youth minister.

Born in Evanston, Ill., she entered the BVM congregation in 1942, professing first in 1944, and final vows in 1949.

Burial was in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Dubuque.
