Sister Alma Marie Van Buren, O.P., a member of the Sparkill Dominican Sisters, for 69 years, died Aug. 8 in Sparkill, N.Y. She was 90.

In the Diocese of Brooklyn, she taught at St. Edmund’s H.S., Sheepshead Bay, 1962-76.

Burial was in St. Agnes cemetery, Sparkill.
