On Dec. 17, two Bishop Loughlin M.H.S., Fort Greene, basketball stars forever cemented their legacies in the Lions’ record books.
Senior shooting guard Khadeen Carrington, who will be playing in college next fall at Seton Hall University, broke the school’s all-time points record set by Jayvaughn Pinkston.
Carrington needed 26 pts. to break the mark, and he went out and scored 28. The record now stands at 1,563 pts.
In addition to Carrington, Loughlin point guard Mike Williams, who signed to play next fall at Rutgers University, scored 18 pts. en route to eclipsing the 1,000-pt. plateau.
Both players were presented with a commemorative basketball after the game.
