The Pro Vita Awards Mass that was cancelled in January because of the snowstorm, will be held this Saturday, March 5, at 5 p.m. at St. James Cathedral-Basilica, Downtown Brooklyn. Auxiliary Bishop Octavio Cisneros will be the main celebrant.

The Little Sisters of the Poor, who maintain Queen of Peace Residence, Queens Village, will be the recipients of the Father Michael J. McGivney Medal for Life.

The Bishop Thomas V. Daily Pro Vita Award will be presented to the doctors, nurses, and team at Calvary Hospital, Brooklyn campus at NYU Lutheran Hospital, Sunset Park.

The Pro Vita Mass is co-sponsored by the Diocese of Brooklyn and the Knights of Columbus.

Father Michael L. Gelfant, diocesan liaison to the K. of C. is coordinating the event.
