Students at Christ the King H.S., Middle Village, celebrated Bullying Awareness Week. The entire school watched the movie “Cyberbully,” and homeroom classes participated in a contest in which they came up with a “quilt square” for a school quilt to promote kindness rather than bullying. The winning square was submitted by Tina Evola-Concordia’s class with the statement: “Use Your Words to Heal, Not to Hurt.” The anti-bullying campaign was spearheaded by CK’s Program for the Development of Human Potential (PDHP) Club.
