Bishop Frank Caggiano, Bishop of Bridgeport, will receive the first Father Michael McGivney Medal for Life presented by the Diocese of Brooklyn and the Knights of Columbus at the Pro Vita Awards Mass, on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 5 p.m. at St. James Cathedral-Basilica, Downtown Brooklyn.

The first Bishop Thomas V. Daily Pro Vita Awards will be presented to Michael Marino, a volunteer with the Helpers of God’s Precious Infants, and Cathy Donohoe, director of Bridge for Life, Flushing.

Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio will be the main celebrant of the Mass that will pray for a greater respect for human life.
