Theodore Musco, director of the Office of Faith Formation, and staff hosted two meetings for catechetical leaders on Sept. 9 at 310 Prospect Park West, Park Slope, and Sept. 10 at the Immaculate Conception Pastoral Center, Douglaston, to mark the celebration of Catechetical Sunday, Sept. 15. This year’s catechetical theme is “Open the Door of Faith.” Leisa Anslinger, nationally known speaker and author, addressed both gatherings and provided practical ways to increase participation in parish programs of faith formation.
