St. Bartholomew parish, Elmhurst, has a Bereavement Ministry that meets monthly. The next gathering is set for Nov. 14 after the 9 a.m. Mass in Heafy Hall. During the meetings there is an opportunity to pray, listen and share. If attendees are not comfortable sharing, they can just pray and listen. Our Lady of Angels, Bay Ridge, offers Bereavement Support meetings during the day and in the evening to accommodate every schedule.
