Ordained Transitional Deacons

The five men becoming priests for the Diocese of Brooklyn June 30 were ordained transitional deacons during three separate Masses in Rome, Yonkers and Astoria.

Patrick Dorelus, who studied at the Pontifical North American College (PNAC) in Rome, Italy, was ordained a transitional deacon at St. Peter’s Basilica on Sept. 28, 2017 by Bishop James Checchio of Metuchen, N.J.
