Dear Editor: Bravo on Ed Wilkinson’s report of Kathy Gallagher’s presentation (Oct. 15) at Our Lady of Angels. I have long worked with Kathy on life issues and a host of other issues to combat those who love to hate our Church and its teachings.

Kathy is and long has been an eloquent, passionate, well-informed and fearless defender of our faith and mission. She is a modern-day Joan of Arc in the battle for life from the womb to the tomb. Ditto Fred Trabulsi!

The fact that only 75 people bothered to show up speaks volumes to the continued apathy, consternation and sickening lack of concern for life issues, even when it is their lives which will one day be on the line.

Sadly, this is the same sickening and lifeless scenario, which we witnessed in the 1960s, ’70s and ’80s and the root cause of why we are in the mess which we find ourselves today with every hater of our faith and Church so boldly and virulently attacking us with abandon.
