Sister Catherine Crimmins, S.C., a Sister of Charity, Halifax, for 73 years, died April 20 at Mt. St. Vincent, Wellesley Hills, Mass. She was 93.

She was formerly known as Sister Catherine Francis, and taught second, third and fourth grades at Resurrection-Ascension School Rego Park, 1941-47.

She also ministered in Patchogue, L.I., Bermuda, Massachusetts and Nova Scotia as a teacher, counselor and social worker

She retired to Mt. Saint Vincent, Wellesley Hills, in 2006.

She is survived by her brother William Crimmins of Michigan.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Mt. St. Vincent on April 25. Burial was in St Mary’s Cemetery, Needham, Mass.
