Frances Marie Brophy, 82, who worked as the assistant librarian at the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception, Huntington, L.I., died after having suffered a stroke a few weeks ago.

She worked in the library as associate librarian for almost 30 years and helped scores of seminarians, faculty and students.

She retired in 2009.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Feb. 25 at St. Hugh of Lincoln Church, Huntington Station.
