Father Donald F. Diederich, a retired priest of the Rockville Centre Diocese, L.I., died Jan. 15.
For many years, he was a member of the faculty of Immaculate Conception Seminary, Huntington.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Jan. 21 at St. James Church, Setauket, L.I.
Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I.
To many, he was Father Don. To me he was just “Uncle Don”…. a man who deeply loved his family. He had many wonderful friends who did everything they could to help him. I am,forever, grateful for their kindness. He was the kindest, smartest, most compassionate man I have known. I miss you, greatly, Uncle Don.
