St. Joseph’s College, Clinton Hill, has named Peter Blumenauer as the school’s new baseball coach. Blumenauer brings more than 12 years experience coaching at the high school, college and summer-collegiate level. He becomes the fourth head coach in Bears’ program history. Blumenauer played baseball at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, and Molloy College, Rockville Centre, L.I. He then enjoyed coaching stints at Islip H.S., L.I., Suffolk County Community College, Selden, L.I., Adelphi University, Garden City, L.I., Eastport-South Manor H.S., Manorville, L.I., and Sayville H.S., L.I.

“It will be our mission as a program to represent the college in the highest manner, both on the playing field and in the classroom,” Blumenauer said.
