Pope Francis’ pastoral visit to Ireland this weekend will be carried live on NET-TV, the cable television of the Diocese of Brooklyn.
Currents News’ anchor Liz Faublas will be joined in the studio by Tablet Editor Ed Wilkinson and Jorge Domínguez, the Editor of Nuestra Voz, the diocesan Spanish monthly. Currents’ correspondents Michelle Powers and Tim Harfmann will report from Ireland. To lend analysis and expertise, Crux’s John Allen, Christopher White, Inés San Martín, Claire Giangravè and Elise Harris will be on site, reporting events as they happen.
Extended live coverage will begin with Pope Francis’ arrival in Dublin on Saturday, Aug. 25, at 5:30 a.m., and then again on Sunday, Aug. 26, at 4:15 a.m., continuing throughout each day.
