The 76th anniversary Mass commemorating the death of Servant of God Msgr. Bernard J. Quinn will be celebrated Saturday, April 2, at 1 p.m. at St. Brigid’s Church, Westbury, L.I. Msgr. Quinn, whose cause for sainthood is being considered the Vatican, was the founder of St. Peter Claver parish, Bedford-Stuyvesant; St. Benedict the Moor parish, Jamaica; and Little Flower Children Services, Wading River, L.I. Following the Mass, participants will visit the gravesite of Msgr. Quinn that is in Holy Rood Cemetery, adjacent to the church. The main celebrant will be Msgr. Theophilus Joseph.
