Louis S. Milo will be the guest of honor, and Father Timothy R. Scully, C.S.C., will speak at the 114th Anniversary Dinner of the Cathedral Club of Brooklyn.
The event, a mainstay on the diocesan social calendar, will be held at the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square on Thursday, Feb. 6, beginning with a reception at 6 p.m.
Milo is the founder and president of Milrose Consultants Inc., one of the nation’s leading code consulting and municipal filing services company. Born in Flushing, he and his wife Janet have three children and live in East Williston, L.I., where they are members of St. Aidan’s parish.
A graduate of Archbishop Molloy H.S., Briarwood, and St. John’s University, he previously has been honored for his leadership and philanthropic activities by St. Francis Food Pantries, New York Special Olympics, Israel Bonds, PAL and St. Dominic’s Home.
Father Scully, professor of political science at Notre Dame University, South Bend, Ind., is the founder of the Alliance for Catholic Education, Notre Dame’s signature program which provides hundreds of talented and committed Catholic school teachers and leaders every year to underserved communities in the U.S.
