In honor of Dr. Theodor Seuss Geisel’ 113th birthday, students at St. Bernard Catholic Academy, Mill Basin, celebrated the author by dressing as his characters, most notably the Cat in the Hat and Thing 1 and Thing 2. Students ate green eggs and ham and learned how to make Horton Hears a Who snacks. The day included guest readers and volunteers who brought Dr. Seuss’ stories to life with crafts and games.
