At the Manhattan Declaration Returns Home conference Sept. 25 at Columbia University’s Teachers College, Manhattan, Cardinal Timothy Dolan led an interfaith prayer service prior to the presentations.

Speakers included Alan E. Sears, president and CEO of Alliance Defending Freedom, and Marjorie Dannenfelser, national organizer of the Susan B. Anthony List.

About 200 participants listened to speakers defend religious liberty, traditional marriage between one man and one woman, the right to life and the ability to follow one’s conscience in the public arena.
