Lucille Parella-Scalabrino, 68, of Brick, N.J. died May 12 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, she moved to Brick in 2005. She was a retired supervising school aide with the New York City Board of Education in Brooklyn.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated May 17 at St. Dominic’s Church, Brick.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Joseph Scalabrino; daughters, Virginia Scanlon of Jackson and Deanna Scanlon of Matawan, director of Human Resources for the DeSales Media Group.
